The plan is not to run in them, but for more casual/professional use. Currently I have stuff like Converse All-Stars, which have a great flat, no-arch, sole. But it&#039;s also a very thick sole.  I also have some Sanuk&#039;s, with a nice flat sole. But it&#039;s also very soft. The Tai Chi&#039;s might feel even better with their hard, non-support, low sole.
